Weekly Reads [2/27 - 3/6]

Hello again, folks!

I sure have been posting a lot for a Thursday.  Don't get too excited about it though; you all know how horrible I am at keeping my blog up-to-date!

Earlier today I shared with you the books that I had completed so far.  Right now I am going to tell you everything I am currently reading as well as the books I will start reading upon their arrival this weekend/next week.

Let us rejoice in books!

1. Cress by Marissa Meyer, the third book in The Lunar Chronicles
2. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling, a re-read; the fourth book in the series
3. Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi, the second book in the Shatter Me trilogy
4. When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead
5. Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan
6. Everybody Sees the Ants by A.S. King
7. Dust & Decay by Jonathan Maberry, the second book in the Benny Imura series
8. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
9. The Way of Shadows by Brent Weeks, the first book in the The Night Angel trilogy
10. The Time Machine by H.G. Wells

I may not get to all ten of these books in the next seven days, but these are definitely on the top of my list (and conveniently right next to me in my bed!) I'm expecting quite a shipment to arrive soon, so I'll be sure to share the contents of that with y'all as well.

Have a lovely Thursday, y'all!

Stay warm!

What I've Read (So Far) This Year

Hello, loves!

Before I film an official 'wrap-up', I thought I would post what I've been reading lately.

While I have managed a whopping twenty books so far, I'm still seven books behind where I should be in order to reach my 2014 goal of 150; however, I really have no doubts that I will reach that deliriously silly goal.

So here's what I've read thus far:

 1. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, the first book in the Shatter Me trilogy
2. In The After by Demitria Lunetta, the first book in the In The After series
3. Cinder by Marissa Meyer, the first book in the Lunar Chronicles
  4. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer, the second book in The Lunar Chronicles
5. The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan, the first book in The Kane Chronicles
6. The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan, the second book in The Kane Chronicles
7. The Serpent's Shadow by Rick Riordan, the third and final book in The Kane Chronicles
8. Coraline by Neil Gaiman, a re-read
9. Stardust by Neil Gaiman, a re-read

10. The Wolves in the Walls by Neil Gaiman
11. Animal Farm by George Orwell
12. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling, a re-read; the first book in the series
13. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling, a re-read; the second book in the series
14. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling, a re-read; the third book in the series
15. The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling, a re-read
16. Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry, the first book in the Benny Imura series

17. The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo, a re-read
18. Allegiant by Veronica Roth, the third and final book in the Divergent trilogy
19. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
20. The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey, the first book in The 5th Wave series
Well, folks, there they are.  All twenty books.  I think I may have read one or two of these during the last week of December, but I can't remember exactly which.  Oh well!  It still counts!

I'll be posting updates as I tackle more books, and I will hopefully have another video up soon!

Thanks for reading!

Youtube: Bookshelf Tour 2014

Hello, beautiful people (I typed paper at first - I'm tired)! I finally posted a video to le Internet last month and it was, of course, the most requested.

Voila!  A bookshelf tour!
It isn't anything too fancy, but it's a start.  If life would just stop happening for a second I would be able to get another video up soon.  Stayed tuned, folks!

Have a fabulous Thursday, y'all!

Love you long time!
