The Beatrice Letters by Lemony Snicket: A Review

The Beatrice Letters by Lemony Snicket: A Book Review

The Beatrice Letters is a collection of correspondences between Beatrice Baudelaire and Lemony Snicket that serves as a companion to the Series of Unfortunate Events series.  It was released prior to the thirteenth and final book in the series, The End.  As usual, even with all of the material readily available, Snicket leaves us with more questions than answers; however, it is more about the journey, isn't it?

I did not feel like this answered any questions for me.  I enjoyed the letters and the anagram "BEATRICE SANK", but it was still all rather confusing in the end.  I gave this little collection a 4.0/5.0 on Goodreads if only for one particular letter from Lemony Snicket to Beatrice that includes the following passage:
His outpouring of love for her is so completely, painfully touching that I found myself reading it over and over again - and it goes on for a few pages.

If you love this series, you need this collection.  It connects you to the Baudelaire family and will help you stay immersed in the mysterious craft of Lemony Snicket.  He is a beautiful man.
